We are looking for a highly qualified CFO to join our dental organization and help us achieve our financial goals. The ideal candidate will be a confident and humble leader who embodies the organization’s Core Values of “Patients First, Love Your People, Continual Improvement, and Resourceful and Resilient.” The CFO will play a crucial role in streamlining operational finance and accounting functions, modeling out financial decisions, creating proformas, and creating a road map for continued growth!
We’re a growing company and need a very hands-on CFO to help us make it happen! The right candidate will be excited for the opportunity of growing a company and all the adventures and challenges that come with it. We also want to work with you IN PERSON :). We’re moving fast and have an amazing team and culture. This position will be best filled by someone living in Oklahoma or willing to relocate. (Oklahoma is pretty awesome!)
Responsibilities:
Operational Finance: Manage day-to-day financial operations, including overseeing accounting and finance processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and monitoring cash flow.
Lead and Build the finance/accounting team for growth: Hire, train, and manage a high-performing finance and accounting team that supports business growth and strategic initiatives, while embodying the organization’s core values.
Improve Acquisition Processes: Work with the executive team to identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities, develop acquisition models, and oversee the financial due diligence process, while promoting a culture of continual improvement.
Investor and Bank relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and other financial institutions to secure funding and support business growth
Structures: Develop and maintain financial structures, including equity structures, pro formas, and projections, that support business growth and strategic decision-making.
Collaborate effectively with different types of people: Work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including dental practitioners, executives, business partners, and external advisors, to ensure that financial decisions are aligned with the organization’s goals and values, while embodying the organization’s core value of love your people.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of success in a CFO or senior finance role
Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Highly detail-oriented and analytical, with a strong ability to model out financial decisions and create proformas
Demonstrated ability to lead and build high-performing finance and accounting teams, while promoting a culture of continual improvement and resourcefulness.
Confident and humble, with a strong ability to work effectively with different types of people both inside and outside the dental organization, while embodying the organization’s core value of love your people.
