SPECIALTY UNIT: Advanced Dental Ceramic Technician

Job Summary:
Perform ceramic duties in compliance with doctor prescriptions and legal requirements.
Perform lab administrative duties that assist in support to customers including planning cases, production scheduling and taking charge of quality control.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Full mouth reconstruction with excellent knowledge of occlusion and anatomy
- Must excel at building and contouring crowns with great form and color
- Solid experience building High Quality ceramic crowns from start to finish using the latest materials available.
- Perform training duties to assist processes with co-workers
- Have daily work processed and finished by laboratory procedures and deadlines
- Must have knowledge of Smile Design and the Golden Rule Proportion (LVI)
- Support customers with good communication skills including planning cases
- Assist in administration duties
- Assist patients with custom shades
- Excel in computer skills for documentation
- Work experience with different software systems
- Oversee digital designs for planning
- Willingness to take continuing education courses

- Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified Dental Technician (CDT)
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organizations.
