Job Title: Digital Case Consultant 

A Case Consultant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of restorative cases in the dental laboratory, from initial assessment and consultation to production and delivery. Effective communication, meticulous attention to detail, and expert problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Assess and propose solutions for restorative cases, including crowns, bridges, and implants, leveraging CAD/CAM technology for precise planning and execution. 2. Maintain professional and responsive communication with customers to ensure clarity and alignment between the dental laboratory and the customer. 3. Communicate effectively with dental technicians to convey case specifications and ensure accurate fabrication. 

4. Collaborate with CAD/CAM technicians to troubleshoot issues and refine fabrication processes for seamless workflow. 

5. Oversee CAD/CAM software and hardware systems, ensuring maintenance, calibration, and updates to meet laboratory requirements. 

6. Review case documentation for accuracy and maintain detailed records of all case-related information and transactions. 

7. Stay abreast of industry technology trends, recommending improvements or upgrades to enhance efficiency and quality. 

8. Provide leadership and guidance to CAD/CAM technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. 

9. Uphold safety protocols and standards in the CAD/CAM department, ensuring compliance with regulations. 

Qualifications: 

1. Certification as a Registered Dental Technician or equivalent education and experience in the dental field. 

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the dental industry, with proficiency in 3Shape and Exocad software. 

3. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to manage people, processes, and technology effectively.

4. Excellent time management and attention to detail, with a strategic mindset and ability to lead. 

5. Advanced troubleshooting and multitasking experience, with awareness of relevant industry technology trends. 

6. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. 

7. Knowledge of dental anatomy, materials, and prosthetic fabrication processes. 8. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and CAD/CAM software.
