POSITION TYPE: IMPLANT TECHNICIAN
DEPARTMENT: Fixed
LOCATION: Suburb of Baltimore, MD
Pay: $28 -$34 + benefits.

Objectives of this Role
- Make and repair dental implants with an emphasis on quality, margins, consistent contacts, occlusions, and custom shades according to the Rx from the dentist
- Review each Rx in detail; inspect all work entering and leaving the lab to ensure all quality standards and client requests are being met
- Communicate daily with department manager about any defects or issues related to quality specifications and/or internal and external client requests or requirements
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Meet daily unit target
- Verify completion and accuracy of work
- Work closely with internal clients to understand their requirements, and ensure that all requirements are being met
- Die Prep – prepare die for wax up, paint, and block out utilizing PTC methods, company quality standards, and work instructions
- Stain & Glaze – add stain and glaze to all ceramic crowns using PTC methods
- Contour – final adjustment and contour ceramic crowns; add anatomy as needed, prepare porcelain for final stain and glaze using PTC methods
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in a similar field
- Knowledge of dental anatomy
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of PTC methods and procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining quality work
