My client operates a thriving dental practice located in the safe and welcoming rural community of Clay Center, KS, just a short drive from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. The practice features 7 operatories and serves a patient base of over 4,300 active patients, offering comprehensive in-house care. The team is loyal and highly skilled, with several employees having been with the practice for over a decade. The practice primarily serves families and the elderly, providing a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, implants, endodontics, and orthodontics.
Position Overview:
My client is seeking a part-time Associate Dentist eager to join their growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in implant placement, oral surgery, and endodontics, and will be comfortable handling a variety of dental procedures. This role offers flexibility in scheduling, with a preference for Tuesday and Wednesday hours. The practice has the potential to expand both in terms of operatory space and patient volume, offering opportunities for the new doctor to increase their hours if desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive dental care across all age groups, with a focus on family and elderly patients.
- Perform a wide range of procedures including restorative dentistry, implants, oral surgery, and endodontics.
- Share responsibility for hygiene exams with the existing provider.
- Handle emergency cases, averaging 8 per week.
- Work out of 2 operatories, with the possibility of expanding into a third as patient flow increases.

My client’s office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a digital iTero scanner, CBCT machine, and intraoral cameras, all integrated with Dentrix software.
