Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Huntsville, Alabama (Hybrid – 2 days remote, 3 days onsite)

As they continue to grow, they are looking for a skilled Human Resources Generalist to support their dynamic team. Job Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for the overall administration and coordination of HR functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, recruitment, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have prior HR generalist experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home 2 days per week, with 3 days onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Administer employee benefits, including health, dental, and retirement plans
  • Oversee recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of candidates
  • Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding process, including terminations and exit interviews
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Address employee inquiries and provide support for HR-related issues
  • Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures
  • Support employee performance management and disciplinary actions as needed

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as an HR Generalist (minimum 3-5 years preferred)
  • Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS systems (experience with Paycorp is a plus)
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR software

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $50,000 – $70,000, depending on experience
