Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oral Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral surgery and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a practice solely dedicated to oral surgery, allowing you to focus on your specialty in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, and corrective jaw surgery.
  • Collaborate with referring dentists and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide patient consultations, explaining surgical procedures and treatment options clearly and compassionately.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and practice standards.
  • Participate in internal marketing initiatives to strengthen referral relationships and enhance practice growth.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • DMD/DDS from an accredited dental school.
  • Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility preferred.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Kentucky.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented practice.
