About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAD/CAM Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee our CAD/CAM department, specializing in digital dental workflows. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with 3Shape software, proven management success in a dental laboratory setting, and strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Experience with Exocad is preferred but not required. This role also requires experience in training team members to ensure precision in design and production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the CAD/CAM department’s day-to-day operations, ensuring timely and accurate design and production of dental restorations.
- Utilize 3Shape (and Exocad, if applicable) to design high-quality dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, implants, and other prosthetics.
- Train and mentor team members on CAD/CAM technologies, workflows, and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with dentists, lab technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality patient care and product standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, hardware, or production processes.
- Maintain quality control and ensure adherence to all relevant standards and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date on CAD/CAM advancements and integrate new tools and techniques as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with 3Shape CAD/CAM software and proven management success in a dental laboratory setting.
- Exocad experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of digital dental workflows, including design, milling, and 3D printing.
- Excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and manage department operations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving software and production issues.
- Knowledge of dental materials and restoration techniques.
- Experience in a dental laboratory or related field is preferred.
