Title: Registered Dental Hygienist
Location: Delmar, NY
Salary: $42-50 Hourly

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis) by removing plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth.
- Conduct oral health assessments and charting of conditions of teeth and gums.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants.
- Educate patients about proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and diet.
- Assist in developing individualized oral hygiene plans.
- Screen for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis and oral cancer.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts.
- Ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program.
- Licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the state of practice.
- Proficiency in using dental software and digital imaging tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and patient care.
